Beijing Chess Night 2015

Beijing Chess Night 2015

Beijing Chess Night took place at the Russian Cultural Center in Beijing on March 7th. Many chess players came together to have beginner-friendly chess lessons or to play challenging chess games, but the main attraction has been certainly the simul games against Chinese GM Yu Yangyi. As exptected, GM Yu Yangyi did not lose a single game. It was a valuable experience for many young players though to face such an incredible strong opponent.

With the support of Chess Beijing, the Russian Cultural Center, the Veteran Chess Association, and the attendence of IM Li Wenjiang, the team manager of China’s chess teams, Beijing Chess Night was a successful chess event that highlighted the vivid interest of Beijing’s chess scene in public chess events.
